Contact Your Legislators

Our State Lawmakers need to hear from you! At a recent Arboviral task force meeting, Senator Hassan shared with the group that for every call she receives with concern regarding EEE, there are an equal number of calls from citizens concerned about spraying and the environment. We are not advocating for reactive blanket street spraying as the Preferred method of prevention against EEE. We believe that with a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary preventative Plan, the need for the kind of reactive street spraying that causes such concern may actually be reduced. Please join our efforts! Sign our Petition. Contact your State Senator, Represenative, and the Governor and voice your support MOMS AGAINST EEE and our recommendation that the State formulate and follow a Preventative Plan based on the recommendations of Experienced Scientists and the most current scientific research on how best to reduce the risk of EEE and other arboviruses in our communities...

OPEN LETTER TO STATE LAWMAKERS TO GET INVOLVED

Honorable Senators and Representatives of the State of NH:

Did you know that New Hampshire is making International headlines as the U.S. State where a tourist recently became afflicted with a deadly virus and that a request is now being made for travel warnings to be issued for this “part of the Americas”? While the various departments continue to struggle with their own busy schedules and priorities within our State, we may end up protecting an environment that no one will want to take the risk to come visit, start a business or raise a family?

Please click here for the full articles: (read last paragraph of first article for travel warning reference)
